Smelling TV created by japanese scientists

What is the world turning into? when scientists said that one day cars can drive themselves, I said to myself, that would be the end of technology, recent happenings have proved me wrong. Cars can now drive themselves. Again, when scientists at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology said they were working on a TV that will allow one to smell odour from the TV, I said they were simply building castles in the air. Not long, this technology was shown at the IEEE Virtual Reality conference in Orlando, Florida, last week.
They created and built a TV that lets you sense smell of any  food from the screen. How does it work?
Well, it appears the TV has been built with odour distribution. This makes it to quickly discover the smell of any food item on the screen.
