When Kristy Kemp from Sacremento, CA had her baby boy three years ago, she immediately stopped breastfeeding him after three months because to her, she embarrassed to breastfeed her baby. With that in mind, she created a Facebook page ''Breastfeeding/Mama'' to help and encourage mothers who felt embarrassed to breastfeed their baby in Public.
Since she created the Facebook page, many mothers had met and discussed this same issue with her. She was surprised to see that many mothers are, however, in her shoes.
In an effort to enlighten mothers on public breastfeeding, she uploaded numerous photos of a mother breastfeeding her child. The photo was taken down by Facebook in what it said it ''violate'' policy.
After 24 hours, the account was restored. She then uploaded another photo, this time she was banned for three days. This made her upset.
However, Facebook apologized to her that it was a mistake and that the account has now been restored.
