UNITED AIRLINE FLIGHT TOOK A DIFFERENT ROUTE DUE TO OFFENSIVE ODUR

What really happened? was it a sulphur....or someone farted? don't mind me. I act silly sometimes.
A United Airlines flight from NY to Los Angeles change course to Cleveland, Ohio due to offensive odour coming from the cabin. From what I read, airport officials said maintenance workers checked the airline but did not find what was said to an electric smell coming from the cabin.
