FIFA APPROVED FOUTH GOAL-LINE TECHNOLOGY

According to what world football governing body, FIFA said on Friday, the fourth goal-line technology has been approved and granted license by FIFA.
FIFA gave an insight as to how the German-produced GoalContrrol4D works. When the ball crossed the line completely, the central analysis unit sends a signal to the match referee in less than one seconds, to determine if the ball actually crosses the goal line.
Meanwhile, the European football governing body, UEFA has yet to adopt goal-line technology, rather employ an extra linesman behind the post.
Goal-line technology will be used at this year's Confederation cup and FIFA world cup both in Rio De Jenairo, Brazil.
Goal-line technology came in being as a result  of controversies surrounding Frank Lampard goal against Germany at the 2010 FIFA world cup in South Africa.
