Cyber attack:Two banks, three TV stations hit by hackers in South Korea

Hackers suspected to be from North Korea have caused much damage to some banks and TV stations in the country.On Wednesday, South Korea’s Shinhan and Nonyup banks, three TV stations were targeted by hackers. The banks who were hit reports that files were deleted and servers were frozen.
According to Reuters report, the attach was really 'massive''.
However, the affected banks have full resumed operations. But concerning the three TV stations, the report has it that they were still experiencing difficulty. Although, they were able to broadcast.
Officials who knows about the matter said they suspect, but not sure, that the attack originated from North Korea. This is so because, last week North Korea blamed South Korea and the U.S. for cyber attacks that shut down its own servers in the nation's capital, Pyongyang.
