Around 75 Arik air passengers were left in their own amaze at the Ilorin International airport on Sunday as aircraft supposed to convey them to their various destinations did not show up.
Narrating their stories to the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, the stranded passengers said they have passed a night at the airport. They said they were supposed to leave for Abuja on Saturday, but the aircraft did not show up because of what they described as some logistics problem.
Meanwhile, Mr. Damilola Oluwajana, the manager of Arik air at the Ilorin International airport said he had sent text messages to the said stranded passengers that the flight was cancelled but, they did not receive the text because most of them purchased their airline tickets from agents who do not know their identity.
He, however, decline to comment on the new flight schedule.
