Google to acquire Israeli Waze for $1.3 billion

Waze-app4According to my confirmed source, Google has put pen to paper to acquire Israeli traffic report firm and navigation app for iPhone, Waze for $1.3 billion, after a long battle with rivals Facebook and Apple.
It was reported last year that Facebook, Apple and Google were in talks to acquire the startup company. However, Facebook and Apple were not able to reach negotiations, obviously because of the price tag.
Apple dismissed talks that it wanted to acquire the Israeli traffic report firm. I quote Tim Cook words at the D11 conference ''we don't comment on rumour or speculation''.
Facebook screwed up the deal because it couldn't agree to the conditions of the deal which insisted that Facebook will allow Waze employees to continue working in Israel. Facebook did not accept it.
Google, unlike Facebook, agreed to the deal conditions by allowing the its employees to continue working for at least 3 years.
Interestingly, the deal will turn Waze founders into multimillionaires overnight as each Founder will receive not less than $65 million.
