Facebook will try to make you send messages from its website homepage status update box

Facebook, Facebook, Facebook!!! you are doing it the wrong way, by trying to roll out a new feature that would allow users to send private messages from its website homepage status update box.What if the user post his private message as status update? your guess is as good as mine.
I heard Facebook will roll out the feature soon to some limited number of users, in a bid to compete with search giant Google as regard to increase message rate, and also to make users return to the website more often.
