While most of us still struggle to upgrade our phones to browse the internet using 4G network, Samsung, the biggest phone maker in the world, wrote in a blog post earlier today that 5G is on its way. Yes! you heard me right. Samsung disclosed the news after it had successful carried out 5G mobile internet, which the firm hope will roll out in about seven years time.
According to Samsung, the 5G network could transmit data 100 times faster than the present 4G network which was introduced last year. By that, users could download huge files with seconds. So fast!
Presently, the 4G network in the UK average speed is 8 to 12 Megabits per second. While the new 5G network by Samsung average speed is One Gigabits per second.
Samsung will commercialize 5G network by 2020. Let's wait till then.
