Nokia launched the Lumia 720 and 520 in Nigeria

Nokia teamed up with Airtel Nigeria and Microsoft and launched its popular line of Lumia consumer  smartphones, the Lumia 720 and 520 phones into the Nigerian market yesterday, May 15, 2013. Consumers who buy the smartphones and recharge with N1000 are entitled to free 500MB of data to access the internet for the first six months, after which they can subscribe to any plan of their choice. Both smartphone runs on the Windows 8 operating system.
Consumers can pick up their choice of Lumias from any Airtel or Nokia stores or Nokia authorize retailers across the country. The Lumia 520 will sell at N28,000 while the Lumia 720 is price at N49,000.
