FACEBOOK ROLLED OUT "PROMOTE POST" FEATURE

Facebook rolled out a new feature this week and, I know for sure most of those people very keen on privacy may not like it. The new feature allows your friends pay to promote your post without you giving them permission to do so.
If you have information or announcement that you want to pass accross, your friends could simply pay between $7-$10 to promote your post to get it in front of more people. But, for your friends to promote your post, he or she must have less than 5000 friends. If it happened that your friend or friends surpasses that figure, a drop-down arrow next to a post will appear, to sponsor it. Also the post can only be viewed by people who like their page or friends.
Facebook main aim is to give those who don't have enough money to promote their cause, get it in front of more people through the help of their friends.
