Microsoft also working on Smartwatch?

First it was Apple, Samsung, Google and then LG followed suit. But latest reports form the Wall street Journal has it that Microsoft is developing a 15-inch Smartwatch. In fact, earlier this year, the firm asked hardware suppliers in the Asia continent to ship potential parts of the device.
With Microsoft joining the race of Smartwatch makers, we now have 5 Smartwatches to choose from.

NCC: we are ready for mobile number portability

April 22, 2013 is the launch date of mobile number portability--a service that lets a subscriber to retain his mobile number when switching from one network operator to another. According to the reports, MTN and Globalcom are full ready for the launch. From what they said, all infrastructures and manpower have been put in the right places. They have successful carried series of test on all network systems to properly accomodate those who are eager to join the networks.
However, the state of readiness of the other two networks, Etisalat and Airtel are yet to be known.

The new Google doodle is about the birthday of Leonhard Euler(1707-1783), a Swiss Mathematician and Physicist whose birthday is today April 15.

NCC lift ban on Airtel, Globalcom and Etisalat

Nigeria Communication Commission, NCC has lifted the ban placed on three telecom operators out of the four: Globalcom, Airtel and Etisalat.
It said the ban was lifted after the three telecom operators met the body's December 2012 KPLs, Key Performance Indicators.
It also went further to say that the ban placed on MTN Nigeria is still active. The ban will be lifted when the KPLs are met.
NCC placed the ban on the telecom operators afters series of complaint from consumers and stakeholders about the low quality service offered by the networks as well as promotions such as lotteries.
